from 99 reviewsI'm gluten-free and have been experimenting with teff. This flour is wonderful. It has a mild, slightly nutty taste. I've used it for pancakes, bread, and as a thickener. Such a high-quality product.
I'm new to this, but I added it at the end of my lentil stew as Helen suggested. WOW. The aroma is incredible. It's warm, peppery, and sweet all at once. It's like a secret weapon for flavour.
I sent this to my daughter who is away at university and missing home. She was so happy. It has all the essentials for her to make her own wot and shiro. A great kit.
This is proper, high-quality mitten shiro. Not that dusty stuff. It's creamy, flavorful, and makes a bozena shiro that reminds me of Addis. Betam yitamal (It's delicious)!
As someone who is plant-based, I thought I'd never get that authentic niter kibbeh flavour. I infused this blend into my vegan butter (with coconut oil), and... wow. The aroma is incredible (that cardamom!). It's the secret ingredient I've been missing.
I'm a home-roaster, and these beans are fantastic. They roasted up very evenly. I did a light roast and got all those bright, citrus, tea-like notes the description promised. A very clean, high-quality bean.
This is the perfect bundle. It literally has everything you need for a proper doro wot or siga wot.
10/10. This is the real thing. Don't waste your money on anything else.
I've been reading about teff as a superfood and wanted to try it. This brown teff has a lovely, rich, nutty flavour. It's fantastic for pancakes and as a gluten-free flour for baking in general.
This is the right combination for a good alecha wot. Good quality qimmem.
I love berbere, but sometimes I want a mild stew. This bundle is perfect. It had all the exact spices the recipe called for. My potato and cabbage stew was amazing.
I've had trouble finding good ivory teff to make my injera. This flour is excellent. The ersho (starter) was happy, and the injera came out soft with the perfect ayn (eyes).
This blend is so warm and comforting. I've been brewing it with black tea, and it makes my whole kitchen smell amazing. Per the suggestion, I've also been putting it in my oatmeal, and it's a total game-changer.
I can't believe the depth of flavour I got from using these blends. My lentil stew (misir wot) was the best I've ever made. I'm never going back to supermarket spices.
his blend tastes right. Good balance. Makes a good dinich wot (potato stew) for my children.
